For those who've never heard of it, foozball is also known as "table soccer" in some parts of the world.

It is that unique looking gaming table that has handles on the sides and a football field for a table top lined up with little pieces moved by the said handles. Recently, this timeless game has been given somewhat of a makeover.

People from GRO Design and Tim modelmakers has recently come up with "11", a foozball table oozing with style. It is quite a departure from your usual table soccer tables which becomes eye sores from years and years of wear and tear.

The "11", it seems, is the most stylish and polished foozball table to date. It consists of chrome polished player pieces and is housed in an aesthetically appropriate design for a table that would even make the design and style conscious crowd take a second glance.

Although not yet available for purchase, it has already made its way to several design exhibits to try and catch more people to take a different look at a timeless game known as foozball.

The iWish Portable Game Console is a very interesting idea these days. It is about combining the Sony PSP and the Apple iPhone for fun gaming and instant connectivity. It is a pity however that this will not be going in the market. Or at least will not be in the market for now? Let us stay in tune with this.

The California-based company is famous for revolutionizing the computer game industry by creating cutting-edge gaming peripherals that give gamers competitive edge. Razer is also known for its gaming keyboards Tarantula and Lycosa, with their blue backlights.

Razer will be releasing its latest gaming keyboard called the Razer Aurantia. Though it still bears an arachnid's name, it is not destined to go down its predecessors' path. For one, it's not going stateside like the other famous Razer gaming keyboards. This one's East-bound - it will be available only in China. For another, it has red backlighting - which is very appropriate where it's headed.

The Aurantia is reported to be ultra-portable. It's dimensions are 446 x 205 x 29 mm or 17.56 x 8.07 x 1.14 inches with the removable wrist rest attached.

Razer Aurantia Features

can record macros

store 10 game profiles on-board

can disable Windows key for gaming

It's not hard to see why there's a possibility that the Aurantia will one day turn up in the U.S. considering the keys are in English. The Aurantia will be available in China in mid-July packaged with a Razer Salmosa mouse for RMB 399.

We have seen virtual reality visors that gets you into the action all while covering your eyes with a bulky pair of goggles, but that was so yesterday. The future not only lets you get into the game by seeing the environment for yourself, but also enabling you to feel everything around you.

TN Games recently introduced its line of peripherals for first-person shooting (FPS) games. Using its trademark 3rd Space technology, theFPS Vest is an impact-generating device that gives your body the feeling of bullets echoing through the air, or having a bomb exploded several meters from you, and most especially how those M-16 bullets feel on your body.

The vest works by sending stimulating signals to eight different active zones. Purchasing this FPS Vest comes with two PC games namely 3rd Space Incursion and Call of Duty 2.

And if that is not enough, come 2009 TN Games would come up with theHTX Helmet that utilizes the same 3rd Space technology. Worn on the head, this unique simulation helmet delivers blows to the head whenever you are fired upon. There is also a possibility that you can also use this helmet in sporting games like boxing or soccer just to give you the feeling of being punched on the ear.

Although these devices may sound exciting at first, TN Games may need to do some tweaking on its gadgets and make the impact adjustable for kids.

Many techies were skeptical whether it would be realized, but here it is, ready to make your life a lot easier. The OLED gaming keyboard features 103 standard keys and comes with 9 monochromatic OLED display keys. This keys can be custom mapped and identified by images or text - clearly rivaling the Optimus Maximus.

The OLED gaming keyboard measures 7.25-inch wide and 20.5-inch long. The OLED technology used in this gaming keyboard are widely used in computers, mobile phones, televisions, and general lighting purposes (in buildings, for example). One of the major advantages of this technology as used in the device is reduced power consumption, since a USB connection is powering it - this device does not need any auxiliary power supply.

There is good news. If you do not want to have the full keyboard, you can buy only the keypad of 9 OLEDs. United Keys is taking orders now and shipping within two weeks. It will cost you $300 for the full keyboard, whereas the OLED keypad is going to run you $200. United Keys keeps the costs of the gaming keyboard and the keypad low by harmoniously integrating proven technology with existing form factors.
